What a wonderful time we had at Ariki Bungalows! Our stay in Rarotonga was for a week-long vacation. The location was great, with a relaxing setting that made us feel right at home. The bungalows were clean and colorful, providing everything we needed for our stay. The hosts went above and beyond to make our holiday special, even preparing special vegan food for us during a barbecue night. We loved waking up to the beautiful view of palm trees from our bedroom and enjoyed the proximity to Muri Beach and its night markets. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and helpful, and we appreciated their hospitality. We also took advantage of the stand-up paddleboarding trips offered by their adventure company.
Would recommend this hotel.

I absolutely adored the warm welcome from the lovely hosts, Jules Shirleen, and their two adorable pups. The cleanliness of the rooms was outstanding, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the private balcony was a delightful spot to relax. The hosts organized a barbecue event, giving us the opportunity to connect with other guests and learn more about them and our gracious hosts. The communal area was entertaining, even offering the local brew on tap! I highly recommend treating yourself to a few days in this little slice of paradise.
If you don't have your own transportation, be prepared to walk up to the hill where the bungalows are located. Additionally, for seniors who may be scared of lizards, it's advisable not to sit on the balcony at night with the outside lights on, as they tend to be attracted to the insects.
